This Enrollment & First Day Guide is for families who are joining Bright Minds Learning Center LLC in Wasilla. It explains what to finish before your child’s first day, what to pack, and how drop-off usually flows. When you are ready to pick a classroom or ask about openings, start from the Bright Minds Learning Center LLC home page or go straight to Contact Us so we can match you with the right age group.

Before your start date
Most families complete enrollment forms, emergency contacts, and allergy or diet notes before the first day. Bring a copy of your child’s immunization record if it is not already on file. If you use a tuition account through ProCare, set that up early so billing does not slow down your start. For policy wording on payments, illness, and privacy, read Disclosures and the FAQs page so you know how we handle common questions.
What to label and pack
- Diapers and wipes if your child is not toilet trained. Send enough for the full day plus a few extra.
- Two complete outfits in a zip bag, labeled with first and last name.
- Outdoor gear that matches the season. Mat-Su weather changes quickly, so hats, gloves, and mud boots often save the day.
- Comfort item if your child uses a small blanket or pacifier at rest time. Label every piece.
- Bottles or cups already filled and labeled if your child is on a set feeding schedule.
We serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks on site. Tell us about allergies on the enrollment form and again at the classroom door so the kitchen list stays accurate.
Tour reminders
During your tour, peek at cubbies, the playground gate, and how teachers sign children in and out. Ask which classroom teacher will be your main point of contact for the first week. If you already read the Bright Minds Learning Center LLC home page video or photos, bring any follow-up questions so we can answer them on the spot.
First-day drop-off
Plan a few extra minutes on day one. A teacher will greet you at the door, confirm who is approved for pickup, and walk your child into the room. Young children often do best with a short, cheerful goodbye once they are in the teacher’s hands. If you want to see how learning looks after enrollment, browse Programs for Buttercups (0-3) and Fireflies (3-5) and how FunShine activities fit the week.
